I'm running on a probook 6570b from 2012, worked better on lower settings, but it was a bit hard to get a good mix between low framerate and low resolution, I'm a dev myself and it looks like all of the trees in the game are 3D models, but I don't think it would look much worse with the furthest away ones being just 2D textures.
I see. The trees have around 30 triangles each and are all rendered in a single draw call so I thought it's as fast as it can be. But I'll do some experiments with your idea, thanks for the suggestion!
In the mean time, check this new version if the framerate is better, I optmized the physics engine a little bit. If you have integrated graphics the CPU might improve the FPS now.
awsome 5 stars extremely recomend it even if the cars arent acurate its realy good gameplay and i hope you can make a downloadable versions of the game for pc and mac cause this was fun

It was fun but quite hard as I didn't get very high framerate, otherwise I really like it.

This game is genuinely so good. The only wishes I have is the ability to customize the car and possibly a career mode.
